3 Ways to Wear Cargo Pants This Fall

Okay, before we talk about the sartorial find of the week -“Cargo Pants” and the topic of this read -“how to wear Cargo Pants”, I am excited to introduce Palettepop’s new official photographer. Hmm, hold on, even before I introduce this genius, I have few things to say on -“Why I love New York”…

Well, besides the reasons like its iconic skyline, its late night $1 pizza slices, its strong no-sleep-game, its oldest-&-strongest affair with fashion & many others, I love New York because it never fails to inspire me. Okay let’s back up a bit. So few days back, I met a guy-Mark Couch, at my colleague’s farewell party. While talking to him, I get to know that he is Welsh, holds a degree in Geology, has a somewhat unhealthy obsession with volcanoes, moved to the US in his 20s and have had a very successful career in financial systems as a programmer and now he is taking time off from all this to explore his real interest-photography. Talk about Reinvention!! And the New Yorkers like him are the ones who constantly inspire me to do something outside my full-time job, to keep reinventing myself and keep exploring my interests, be it blogging, traveling or a brand new interest to hike a volcano (thanks to Mark and his volcano stories!). And yes, this was also my smooth introduction to our new photographer. Don’t forget to check out his gallery here.

Now shifting gears to Cargo Pants. These Zara Cargo pants have revived my love for the trousers and the timing couldn’t be any better. These are just so perfect for the Fall season and such a refreshing break from our staple jeans. And as you know me, I went on to style these pants 3 different ways:

Look #1: After Hours, No, During Hours

Talking on the lines of reinvention, if you think it’s time to reinvent your work wardrobe, then add these Cargo Pants to it right now specially when it’s a steal deal like this (Options listed in the last section). So pair your favorite shirt with these pants, add heels to it, turn on the bossbabe attitude and show up to work.

Look #3: All Play, No work!

Yes I am hooked. No, not only to these Cargo Pants but to this long utility jacket as well, which was a no-brainer-buy when you are getting it for 40% in-store sale. Aiming for a super casual and super comfortable look, I paired these pants with a graphic tee, army green utility jacket and the white sneakers. And if you are following me on my Instagram, you should already be aware of my love for the colorful backdrops which just makes this look extra vibrant to me.
