Be The Pastels in a World of Colors

No, you would not look like a human cupcake or human ice cream or human candy, if you wear pastels for summer.. Pshh! Well, if there is anything that brings me more joy than the summer, it is wearing pastels in summer. Because why not? If summer is all about sunny bright days and eating colorful ice cream flavors then let’s just go all in, ya!

Ok enough about the colors, let’s shift the gear a bit and talk about this cute coral strapless dress. Anyone wants to take a guess how much this dress is? Did I hear $180? $160? $150? Yess, $148 if we had to guess the retail price. So I recently came across this online fashion resale store thredUP that provides a platform for buying and selling secondhand clothes, online thrift store if you want to call it so. And this just means you can buy your dream brand without having to spend the retail price. Isn’t that amazing? If you are not yet entirely convinced with the secondhand concept, then you can also look for the ones with the tags only, and you can still find great deals just how I got this brand new Banana Republic dress with tag still attached for $49. If this is not a steal deal, what is..!

As you can see in the photos, I paired it with the color-blocking pastel blue beaded earrings and red lace up shoes (links to all at the bottom). And the backdrop just speaks more to my pastels obsession:

Oh, and if you are looking to make your first thredUP order, you can use my referral link and we both get $10 credit each. Exciting, isn’t it?!

So how would you rate this look? Are you as big a fan of pastels as I am? Be sure to share your thoughts and styling tips in the comment section.

Until next time, Bisous ❤
