3 Ways to Wear a Patch Top

You guys, there is a major 90’s trend that has made a comeback. No, I am not talking about Pokémon-go, psh.. It’s the Patches, Pins and Badges on clothes, that’s becoming a hot fashion trend for 2016. Don’t you just love when your outfit can speak louder than your words!! I literally want to put a b*tch-faced Patch on my clothes, so that saves me the efforts from making one.

While ZARA and Indie artists are still fighting over the rights on ZARA’s recent patch designed clothes collection, let’s move forward with the 3 ways I styled this Patch-embellished top that I bought from ZARA (..a recent victim of my “window”-shopping!).

Look #1: Too- Cool-For-School Look

Let me paint you a picture: A sunny Saturday, a fun Patched top, a high-waisted shorts, round sunnies, neon shoes and a high bun! Need I say more?!

Look #2: Back-to-School Look

This one may be little nerdy, but I simply love this pairing of pinafore jumpsuit with the Patch top, the tangerine shoes and the side braid.

Look #3: Get-Dress-Go Look

Team up this ensemble of  Patch top with a scalloped skirt, hot pink clutch and blush pink heels! Yes, that’s all needed to rock this look!

Where to find Patch Clothes?

For the Missy-s in India, some of the international online stores:

Shein

For the Missy-s in USA:

ZARA

& many others..

Alternative to buying Patches and Pins:

You can also make a more versatile investment by buying patches and pins which you can literally put on any clothe item to make it interesting. Few stores with amazing patches and pins collection are Urban Outfitters, Free People, Nastygal, etc.

So what are some of your favorite Patch pieces? Be sure to write in the comment section and inspire us with your styling tips.

Until next time, Bisous ❤

I like the second look. I will say I am not a patch and pin person (though I doubt I’m the demographic they are targeting!) What would be more original would be to find a craft/sewing store and buy patches and create your own designs. It would definitely be a unique design all your own (rather than paying Zara for their very questionable method of stealing).

I totally agree , that would be so interesting and unique to make your own patches. It is definitely on my list as one of the weekend projects.
